Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama was pointed to become a Trustee Deputy of the graduates at Paramadina University in Nurcholis Mosque Auditorium, Saturday (10/24). The activity was also attended by former Vice President, Boediono.

"Perhaps, you are surprised why I become the trustee, because I was already familiar with Paramadina students when I served as a member of House of Representative (DPR)," he said.

Ahok added that the university students were assigned to follow the current recess to Electoral District (Dapil) in East Belitung which is his hometown.
"When being asked,
I think this is good moment. I always been convinced that the country should meet five elements if it wants to become a developed country," he uttered.
He furthered the idea to include the students who was initiated by Bima Arya. This former member of DPR period 2004-2009 who now serves as Mayor of Bogor intends to eliminate the stigma that saying the officials are bad.
"I think this moment is a good chance to realize it," he stressed.
Ahok finally invited three students to join recess program for five days to East Belitung. These students living in residence and make a recess activity into a showcase that presented in university.
"Since then, I became popular because their work get appreciation and also became a paper work winner," he said.
From that experience, he was having an emotional connection with students from Paramadina until now.
"I think this is like child-parent relationship. As the next generation, we need to build a trust that there is still a good politician, then congratulations to the graduates, I am so proud of you," he finished.
